Program and Project Supervisor, Public Utilities Commission - Energy Division

The California Public Utilities Commission Energy Division is leading efforts to achieve the State's goals towards decarbonization and reliable, clean energy access for all. Our Transportation Electrification team, within the CPUC's Energy Division, is in search of dynamic, creative leader to steer a multi-disciplinary team towards ensuring a zero-emission vehicle future for California. This team works across all vehicle types, including passenger vehicles, buses and trucks, and every utility customer sectors including residential homes, multi-family buildings, workplaces, ports and other facilities. This team leads the Commission's efforts on vehicle-grid integration, grid planning for electrification and transportation electrification policy while closely coordinating with other State agencies, utilities, environmental organizations, ratepayer advocacy organizations and other stakeholders.
Under the general direction of the Program Manager, the Project and Program Supervisor will lead the Renewable Gas and Core Transport Agent Oversight Section. This supervisory position and will manage a team of analysts who are responsible for providing support for the Commission's work on renewable gas and Core Transport Agents (CTA's). This includes collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, developing technical research and working with stakeholders to help achieve the state's goals of addressing climate change through renewable gas.
The California Public Utilities Commission is one of the State’s lead agencies working to reduce carbon emissions and encourage sustainability in California. The Renewable Gas and CTA Oversight Section provides technical and advisory support for matters relating to hydrogen, biomethane/RNG, carbon sequestration, responsibly sourced gas, and Core Transport Agents.

This position requires travel.
