This is a temporary position anticipated to be one year in duration. After one year, the position will be competitively open for hire based upon business need. This position manages and serves as the program administrator for the statewide Telephone Assistance Program (TAP) and fund. TAP is a statewide program which provides low-income, program eligible Minnesotans reduced costs for telephone services. The position provides TAP program representation, frequent financial analysis, program audit, financial reporting, and utility assessment of TAP. The position oversees approximately $2 million in TAP payments annually to regulated telephone companies and provides technical assistance to utilities operating the program.  The position also provides periodic support services to
